Navarathri Golu

Navarathiri is a Hindu Tradition followed by all Hindus across the globe. yes people live in abroad also celebrate this doll function for 9 days and end the same on the Ayudha pooja and vijayadashami day.

Am More excited about this function and give more importance for the same. This Navratri helps to meet the near and dears by visiting everyone’s home.

The preparations starts ahead of 45 days starting with planning the theme, buying return gifts, decoration items, planning the naivedyams, sundal and other sweets. This celebration is more of giving, sharing and meeting peoples.

After joining TN BJP as focusing much on the ground work travelling more for public meetings and other booth works this year not able to celebrate it much.

We used to invite all our Thamizh Mozhi Koodam Students to our home for the golu as it will be a great experience for them to see the dolls and explore the Tamil Culture and Tradition. Of course tasting the Tamil food.

Though am missing this awesome experience this year hoping to dedicate some time next year.
